Description
SEAWATER PIPELINE INSPECTION
Tender Brief
Background
The South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI) Aquatic Sciences Centre is seeking quotes for the inspection and evaluation of its existing seawater pipeline system. Commissioned in 1992, the system consists of four underground pipes that deliver seawater to a collection caisson before water is filtered and used for aquaculture research. Due to age and condition of installation, the sea water pipelines are exhibiting reduced capacity to deliver water supply. The long term intention is to return the pipelines to fully operational capacity.
Proposal
Tenders are invited by qualified pipeline surveillance companies to undertake a thorough survey of the sea water pipelines.
