Description
The Alexandrina Council area is located on the Fleurieu Peninsula of South Australia, about 70 kilometres south of the Adelaide CBD and covers an area of 1,827 km2, and has a current population of 25,449. Alexandrina Council is responsible for over 530km of sealed roads and 770km of unsealed roads across a wide range of terrain from the high rainfall hills of Mount Compass and Kuitpo to the plains of Langhorne Creek and Milang.
The purpose of this contract is to control and maintain road side vegetation along our road network to ensure public safety within the guidelines set out by the Native Vegetation Council and Councils Alexandrina Council Roadside Vegetation Management Plan and Tree Management Policy.This will be an exclusive contract to deliver the services. The term of the contract will be 1 Year + 1 Year + 1 Year extensions (1+1+1) option/s available at the sole discretion of the Alexandrina Council
The aim is to provide all road users of Alexandrina Council road network, a safe passage along all council controlled roads.
