Services include the receipt and processing of Hard Waste from the Council and without limiting the generality of the definition of “Hard Waste”, Hard Waste items include:

• Tree prunings tied in bundles up to 300 mm in diameter

• Glass and mirrors in sheets no larger than 1m2

• Fridges and freezers with doors removed

• Furniture & bedding

• Mattresses

• Carpet, floor coverings, underlay

• Metal and timber items up to 1.5 metres in length

• Pottery, crockery and wash basins

• Washing machines, dryers and stoves

• Tools and gardening equipment

• General waste items able to be handled by two people

• TVs, computer equipment and electrical appliances

Hard Waste volumes for 2017-18 were approximately 700 tonnes.
