The main objectives of this tender are to procure an Electronic Document and Records Management system and implement it as a solution which will enable the Council to:

• Increase efficiency and reduce double handling

• Operate a single repository of Corporate information

• Easily capture documents electronically from any location

• Search and navigate

• Store documents of any type consistently and accurately

• Collaborate on documents with colleagues and peers

• Associate and capture important information alongside the documents

• Easily sentence and dispose of expired content

• Migrate content from other document stores

Additionally, the solution must:

• Include a mature and established product with a clear road-map

• Assist the Council to create and adopt a suitable Business Classification Scheme

• Integrate tightly with existing business systems

• Be compliant with South Australian Record keeping standards and VERS compliance

• Include effort to migrate a range of content from existing sources
