Transactional Banking Services includes the provision of bank accounts and deposit

facilities, cheque and electronic banking facilities, cheque outsourcing and some retail

branch services.

Merchant Services includes the provision for customers to pay amounts to government

using credit cards face-to-face, e-Commerce or interactive voice response methods. To

facilitate the collection of revenue by these methods, the public authority will need to

establish a merchant facility.
