The Department for Industry, Innovation and Science is seeking proposals to develop The Green Industry Transition Roadmap to deliver a comprehensive vision for South Australian industry by fusing key components and stakeholders in our economy into one overall strategy. The Roadmap will:

• Provide an introductory context describing the imperative for a green industrial transition and the necessary enablers permitting the transition, including land, raw materials, and capital, amongst others.
• Identify sectors where South Australia holds comparative advantage in raw materials it can leverage to build value-add green supply chains and industrial clusters.
• Articulate the necessary Research and Development commitment required to support growth of low emission industries, including a pathway for commercialising new technologies.
• Identify the Workforce Capability and Skills Development required in a green economy.
• Present a progressive regulatory framework and congruent set of government policies aimed at encouraging private sector investment.
• Summarise feedback from industry consultation and build it into the roadmap.
• Provide a timeline, key milestones, and vision the South Australian Government can use to promote the State as a preeminent green industry destination
