The SA Housing Authority, on behalf of the South Australian Housing Trust (the Principal under the Contract) seeks responses (Offers) from suppliers as qualified and experienced Head Contractors (HCs), to undertake maintenance services and works, and asset management to approximately 35,000 social/public housing properties owned by the South Australian Housing Trust across the State in six (6) geographic Contract Areas.  Suppliers can submit an offer for one contract area or selected multiple areas.
HCs will be responsible for delivering all aspects of specified and contracted services in each of the six South Australian metropolitan and regional Contract Areas defined as:

01 - Southern Metropolitan and Fleurieu
02 - Western Metropolitan
03 - Eastern Metropolitan and Hills
04 - Northern Metropolitan and Barossa
05 - South East and Riverland
06 - Western Country and Far North

Subcontractors: the Authority has established a separate process where Subcontractors can register their details for optional consideration by Head Contractors responding to this ITS. Subcontractors wishing to be considered for subcontracting services to and by a Head Contractor, and for the Authority to provide their details, can register their details via; https://www.housing.sa.gov.au/other_projects/housing-maintenance-subcontractors

Maintenance works and services and asset management on tenanted and vacant properties of varying types, construction form and age, includes:
1. Responsive Maintenance;
2. Planned and Preventative Maintenance (planned);
3. Upgrades and Capital Maintenance; and
4. Vacancy Property Maintenance.

The Proposed Contract Term is for 8 years (6 years + 2 years extension option).

Suppliers are advised that a number of the tender documents are 'password protected' and require the submission of a signed 'Disclaimer and Confidentiality Agreement' (provided as Part A, Attachment C) to the Contact Person for the Supplier to be granted with the password for access to those documents.  Refer to the instructions in Part A HCMS ITS Procurement Guidelines and Conditions.  The Agreement includes a schedule list of the 'password protected' documents.

Three (3) separate industry briefings are being conducted for this ITS.  Refer Part A HCMS ITS Procurement Guidelines and Conditions and to the Industry Briefing details included in this SA Tenders and Contracts release. Briefings are not mandatory; but attendance requires registration.
