The District Council of Kimba invites tenders from Tenderers for a Kimba Brand Strategy for its community.

Eyre Peninsula Brand Strategy

Regional Development Australia Eyre Peninsula, in consultation with the Councils of the Eyre Peninsula and Key Stakeholders, completed a review of the Eyre Peninsula Destination Brand with a view to an inclusive brand that is representative of the region and that Councils could utilise to align localised branding.

This project should consider and align itself with the Eyre Peninsula Brand where appropriate.

District Council of Kimba

Kimba is a friendly picture town located halfway across Australia on the Eyre Peninsula.  It is a beautiful rural community of residents who have chosen to live, work, raise facilities and retire in a safe environment.  The community is approachable and relaxed, open to visitors and eager to help those in need.

The region is attracting significant national and international attention as the plans for hosting the National Radioactive Waste Management Facilities go ahead.

Kimba is seeking to create a brand that will ensure that when the eyes of Australia turn to Kimba, they see beyond a radioactive waste facility and see Kimba in the way the community want it to be recognised.  A brand that will empower Council, business and residents to tell its own story and unite people.

The brand should showcase and celebrate what makes the region unique and help to discover and articulate its identity. This in turn will facilitate defining the strategic directions for Kimba’s development and help attracting residents, businesses, and investments.
