Department for Environment and Water (DEW) is seeking to engage a suitably experienced Consultant or Consortium (the supplier) to:

• Identify and assess the physical risks from climate change and extreme weather hazards to selected priority infrastructure, including risks resulting from infrastructure cross-dependency.
• Identify and assess transition risks to selected priority infrastructure associated with the transition to net zero emissions.
• Identify potential financial impacts of these physical and transition risks.
• Assess potential risk mitigation options, including where more detailed risk assessment may be required.
• Assess at a high level potential consequences and costs (e.g. damages, opportunity costs); and the cost-benefits of risk treatments (quantified where possible).
• Develop a tool or model that can integrate infrastructure data, different hazard data, and climate change projections to identify climate risk; and risk mitigation opportunities.
