Description
Tasting Australia (TA) exists to promote South Australia as a culinary tourism destination and promote South Australia’s premium food and beverage. TA’s aim is to be the ‘must attend’ culinary festival in Australia.
For the 2024 Tasting Australia Festival, SATC seeks to engage a supplier to design and manufacture structures for the Food & Bar Vendor spaces, the completed structures will be re-used for the 2025,2026 and 2027 festivals. The high-level dimensions for each structure are as follows:
Structure 1: Food Vendor 1 – 6 units, each 6000 mm (W) x up to 2500 mm (H)
Structure 2: Food Vendor 2 – 8 units, each 3000 mm (W) x up to 2500 mm (H)
Structure 3: 1 unit, 6000 mm (W) x 4000 mm (H)
The primary scope of this ITS is Structures 1,2 and 3, this ITS seeks Response to deliver the following:
- Concept Design for the 14 food vendors and a framework façade for the Main Bar.
- Detailed Design for manufacture to include but not limited to engineering drawings sign offs
- Manufacture and commission all structures & build documentation for each.
- Compliance to all functional and legislative requirements.
- Stages 1 and Stage 2 timings to ensure all structures are complete ready to install by 4 March 2024.
- Pricing to deliver both Stages 1, Design and 2, Manufacture will not exceed, the indicative, budget of $330,000 (inc GST).
- Manufacturers Warranty
It should be noted SATC reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, not to progress from Stage 1, Design, to Stage 2, Manufacture.
The ITS also requests Responses to the following optional scope:
- Structure 4: Food Vendor Fired Cooking Shelters, Fireproof Framework & cover 3000mm x 3000 mm to accommodate 6 spaces
- On site installation and dismantling of structures packed into storage containers.
SATC invites suitably qualified suppliers to respond to this ITS, and will consider responses from:
- A Supplier capable of delivering the end to end requirements; or
- A Manufacturer working in a subcontracting arrangement with an Architects/Designer to deliver the end to end requirements; or
- An Architect/Designer working in a subcontracting arrangement with a Manufacturer to deliver the end to end requirements.
The contract term to be aligned to manufacturer’s warranty period.
