Purpose: NAWMA runs a Materials Recovery Facility in the Northern Suburbs of South Australia. NAWMA processes approximately 53,000 tonnes per annum of commingled yellow top bin residential recycling. NAWMA produces a number of high-quality sorted recycling commodity streams, including approximately 25,000 tonnes per annum of fibre (paper and cardboard). As part of NAWMA’s Strategic Plan, NAWMA has made a commitment that all sorted recycling commodity streams will undergo primary processing in Australia by 2020. This RFQ seeks to identify suitably qualified companies, or entities, that receive sorted fibre in Australia for processing. NAWMA would like to engage with such companies or entities to receive and process NAWMA’s sorted fibre for a period of three (3) months.
