Description
Alexandrina Council covers an area of 1,824 km2, and has a current population of 24,000 people. There are several main towns in the region – Goolwa, Port Elliot, Middleton, Mount Compass, Ashbourne, Strathalbyn, Milang and Langhorne Creek Woodchester, Clayton.
There is approximately 350 kilometres of sealed roads.
The aim is to ”Connect Communities” by providing all road users of Alexandrina Council safe and maintained road network along all council controlled roads.
The object of this contract is designed to improve quality standards of asphalt being supplied on Council’s road, footpath and cycle path network and to ensure public safety
The contract will be for the period of 4 years up to 11th October 2019 as outlined in the specification
