Description
The Desert Parks Pass (DPP) is a 12 month permit which allows access and camping in South Australia’s Desert Parks. The pass includes the maps necessary to visit the area, as well as a handbook with information on the parks and requirements for safe travel through the remote SA Arid Lands Region of South Australia. The handbook and accompanying maps are a vital management tool both from the DEWNR perspective and the visitors as they travel in these extremely isolated parks.
The supply of DPP handbooks is required for the period of 2017-2021. Each year an estimated 4,000 to 5,000 units will be required, but may be less depending on DPP stock remaining from the previous year.
