Light Regional Council (the Council) is commencing a $15 Million Accelerated Infrastructure Upgrade Program (the Program), which will involve the upgrade of 72 roads in the Council area.

The Council invites tenders from Tenderers for the provision of civil construction works (the Works). The Council will appoint a panel of two (2) contractors.

The Works will include but are not limited to earthworks, pavement construction, drainage (including flood works), finishing works and landscaping.

Contractor workloads will be determined based on performance and costings, with performance reviews to be conducted on a quarterly basis.

The contract will be for a period approximately three (3) years, commencing 11 September 2017 to 30 June 2020. The majority of the works are expected to be completed by 31 December 2019.
