Provision of an aerial platform using rotary wing aircraft to:

• Support delivery of prescribed burning in conjunction with appropriately trained and accredited DEWNR staff, including:
   - Ignition using aerial driptorch and aerial incendiary equipment supplied by DEWNR;
   - Reconnaissance and mapping;
   - Suppression and mop up activities; and,
   - support remote area firefighting operations.
• Wet hire of a minimum of two and up to three rotary wing aircraft, with two having both aerial drip torch (suspended load) and incendiary capability (approved installation), and one having at least incendiary capability (approved installation). Note that DEWNR will supply aerial incendiary (Raindance R2) and aerial driptorch (sling load device) equipment;

The contract will be let for an initial period of two years, with two (one) year options for extension.
