Description
Council has committed to the implementation of a septic tank maintenance schedule to desludge septic tanks with connections to a Community Wastewater Management Scheme (CWMS).
The septic tank pump out project is to be strategically rolled out across all of the required Septic Tank Effluent Disposal Scheme (STEDS) areas of Kangaroo Island. The intention is not to roll out the maintenance schedule on an ad-hoc manner with individual land owners or occupiers who are engaging contractors for the desludging of their septic tanks.
