The Mallala sewer scheme was constructed in 2015 as part of the Mallala Community Wastewater Management System project. Following construction, it was identified that a number of properties could not be connected to the scheme via gravity. It was identified that 32 properties require modification: 19 properties were identified as requiring pump units and 10 properties require lowering the gravity connection. Replacement of the existing 7 air valves is required including new sewage air valve and isolation valve.
