The South Australian Museum is undertaking a Market Sounding process for the development, lease and hand back of a proposed South Australian Museum Collection and Research Facility.  This market approach will assist in gathering industry input and feedback on the interest of potential developers in this opportunity and their capacity to finance, design, construct and lease a purpose built storage, office and laboratory facility, that includes visitor facilities and amentities.  The Market Sounding process will determine:

• the availability of well-located sites
• the capacity to provide the required type, quantity and quality of accommodation
• an indication that it can be provided within a reasonable cost range.
