The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters (the Council) invites tenders from Tenderers for the provision of land & building revaluation. The Council will enter into a Contract for Services with the successful Tenderer.

The Council has responsibility for 288 parcels of land, which includes all reserves and operational land. On 50 of the Council’s Local Government land sites, there are more than 115 separate buildings and structures, ranging from monuments, gazebos, flag poles and sheds up to the larger, more complex and well used buildings, such as the Norwood Town Hall, the Payneham Library, St Peters Town Hall and Service Depot.

The Council owns and operates the St Peters Child Care Centre, the Payneham Community Centre, Norwood and Payneham Memorial Swimming Centres, three libraries located in Norwood, Felixstow and St Peters, as well as the Norwood Concert Hall, one of South Australia’s premier entertainment venues.

The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters is seeking the professional consultant to undertake the full valuation of the Council’s properties which will allow the Council to fulfil the requirements of the Local Government (Financial Management) Regulations 2011, and will also allow the Council to develop leasing tools to link the leasing of community buildings to either the replacement cost or depreciated value of the facility
