       The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters (the Council) is seeking the drainage upgrade along a section of drainage easement between two residential properties on Canterbury Avenue, Trinity Gardens. The Drainage Easement serves as an overland flow path for stormwater when the capacity of the pipe is exceeded:

• the stormwater pipe has a capacity of approximately a 2 year ARI, with flows heavier than this flowing overland along the drainage reserve/easement from Canterbury Avenue to Ashbrook Avenue; and

• when flows exceed a 5 year ARI, there is potential for the flooding of dwellings located at Canterbury Avenue and Ashbrook Avenue to occur. Flooding of the properties on Canterbury Avenue occurs at the front of the dwelling as water enters the property from the road, while the dwelling on Ashbrook Avenue experience floods through the rear of the property as water enters the property from the laneway.
