Description
The Adelaide Festival Centre was Australia’s first multi-purpose arts centre, built between 1970 - 1973 and is one of Australia’s most active theatrical producers, presenting a wide range of arts activities and performances for the local community as well as interstate and international visitors. As part of the larger Adelaide Festival Centre Precinct Project, $11.122 million has been granted to Arts South Australia for the procurement of technical equipment at the Adelaide Festival Theatre (Festival Theatre), the Dunstan Playhouse (the Playhouse) and the Space Theatre (the Space).
The Adelaide Festival Centre has a broad selection of microphones, encompassing a number of different brands and models. The specification document represents a one to one replacement of existing legacy items for their modern day counterparts. Additional microphone stock is also required to cover the Adelaide Festival Centre’s increasing venue activity. This will assist in reducing the external hiring of microphone equipment and will satisfy local and international hirers and visiting artists’ expectations.
