Description
City of Charles Sturt will seek an experienced contractor to construct the proposed new stormwater trunk mains along the Port Road median strip. Early Works – Rail Corridor Works package pertains only to a section of the trunk mains to cross the Grange-Adelaide rail line in January 2017.
The scope will be to install 1500mm diameter twin parallel trunk mains across the rail corridor using open trenched excavation, with the railway track, subgrades and all associated infrastructure and services reinstated immediately following the works. A DN375 reinforced concrete sleeve will also be installed parallel to the trunk mains which will be used for a future irrigation line.
