The Kadina CBD Stage 2 includes the Copper Coast Highway Realignment.

Addendum 1 – T2017-021 Realignment of the Copper Coast Highway – Kadina CBD stage 2

1. Please find attached dwg file

2. Disposal of material;

a. The existing seal can be stock piled within the Kadina depot, 9 South Terrace Jerusalem, at the corner of South Terrace and Johns Street., approximately 750m south/east of the site.

b. Other waste matter that is deemed as waste fill can be disposed of at the old Kadina landfill site, 224 Port Broughton Road, that being approximately 1km north/east of Kadina. This material must be disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner, no dumping fees will apply for the disposal of inert fill. Materials that are not inert and not classified as waste fill must be utilized on site, there are options within this area for re-use of these materials as vegetated earth mounds.

2. Within Section D Mobil site ESA reports were included for information purposes. Given the locality of the tendered works with respect to the old Mobil site and the nature of the tendered works Council asks that the tenderer include works above and beyond the standard plans requested as part of the schedule, Section 2 Environmental, as a separate PC item titled “additional environmental reports given contaminants encountered within works”. This PC item should include a lump sum provision for environmental plan preparation and a separate portion of rates for disposal of contaminant materials.

1. The Copper Coast Highway tender is restricted to Civil Contractors prequalified with DPTI for R1 Roadworks or higher.

Addendum 4 - Copper Coast Highway Realignment

Please note the Tender closing date has been extended to Wednesday August 16th 4.00pm 2017.

Also to clarify Section 3.2.3 Lodgment of Tenders please refer to Section 3.2.3.1 as being correct and ignore 3.2.3.4

“Tenderers are required to lodge to Council prior to 4 pm on 16 August 2017 (the Closing Date) one complete tender (all relevant documentation) in digital format via email to; [email protected]. In addition to the complete submission the tenderer must send 3 hard copies of all tender schedules (Section E) and project program”
