Display Tender SAWC044206
This page displays the details of a tender. See the detailed help in each section for specific information.
Description
The ageing infrastructure of the River Murray is approaching an age, when considerations of asset renewal / replacement or significant refurbishment are being undertaken. A key component of the infrastructure are the water retaining foundation cutoffs of the structures. These components are now approaching the nominally assigned design end stages of their asset lifecycle.
It is required that a review of the condition of existing foundation cutoffs be undertaken by experienced consultants and contractors. The review and outcomes of the investigations will inform significant long term decisions relating to the asset treatment at the sites.
Expressions of interest from experienced engineering consultants and contractors are sought to undertake investigations to provide SAW, MDBA and partner governments with information allowing assessments of the age, condition and expected life of the foundation arrangements.
It is expected that following the review of the EOI process, it is expected that no more than three firms will be requested to tender, with a preference to minimise this to two if possible.
